About This Item

LEX LEVITARUM: Or Preparation for the Cure of Souls by the Right Rev. John Cuthbert Hedley OSB, Bishop of Newport, with the Regula Pastoralis of St. Gregory the Great. Benziger Brothers 1905. Ex-library copy, with all the usual stamps and markings, toning and foxing on first and last several pages, a few edge tears, front hinge starting and cracked at title page, tear along top edge spine at front board and small 1/2" tear along bottom edge spine on front board,, but still an overall solid, still acceptable, go-to reading, reference and travel copy of this very hard to obtain, very scarce and very important for now traditional Catholic book by St. Gregory the Great for pastors.

About Good Old Books

"In the old, rambling book tower by the lake ... we specialize in special copies of special books!" We are a very small American family-operated independent business with 28 years of online selling experience. That's right, we've been selling online since the early 1990s, even before the Web, when books and records were sold through Usenet and email mailing lists. We ship fast and secure. Your business directly helps our family, and we appreciate it -- we still hand-write our thank you notes on every order that ships from our local warehouse.Quick link to our Biblio storefront:https://rebrand.ly/goodoldbooks
