Tall quarto, pp. [ii], 249, 1 (notes), 16 color plates (one double-page), printed boards, illustrations in text. Deep in the era of color lithography, here is an archaic hand-coloring job, probably just a wartime irregularity, but nevertheless the artists showed the still had the skill to do it right. Condition of this book: Covers rubbed at edges, small stains on back. Internally clean, bright, overall very good. Size: Quarto. Text is in French. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. All edges clean, neat and free of foxing.
