Houghton Mifflin, 1907. Two volumes. 1907 first edition. Very good condition, nicely kept. Minimal wear to boards. Volume two has a sunfaded stripe straight down the front board along spine edge (see photo). Bindings are strong. Text blocks clean and tight. Bookplates on front pastedowns. Vol. I pastedown has a penciled note on availability and price of the volumes in 1925, and a notation in ink. Vol. II similarly has a notation in ink on the front pastedown. There is a penciled biographical note on Chandler on the rear flyleaf of Vol. I and a penciled note on purchase on the rear pastedown. A very nice set of this scarce title.. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket.
