Classic children's adventure story featuring the character Little Black Sambo as he sets out on a dangerous adventure to find his father. Though not considered culturally correct anymore, this story is told with warmth and respect for all of the characters.
Binding is bumped at corners and spine ends with mild rubbing and scuffing. Hinge is loose but intact. One illustrated front endpaper appears to be missing. Pencil name on FFEP and on REP. There are 4 pages of advertisements for the Henry Altemus publishing company in their Wee Books for Wee Folks series.
