About This Item

Thomas Y. Crowell Company, 1957. Ex-library - brown hardcover cloth binding has tape marks, rubbed along edges, front pocket intact, reinforcing library tape inside front hinge, dampness damage to interior pages, light soiling; however binding integrity good and it is an acceptable reading copy. Dustjacket spine sticker removed, some light soiling and couple clear tape repairs, but overall displays nicely in clean Brodart jacket. 180 pages with great illustrations. Little Hawk desperately wanted a horse, and he really wants the wild black stallion for his own. Little Hawk is a vivid hero, and the author has skillfully combined historical facts with realistic adventure. Scarce title.. Illus. by Keats, Ezra Jack. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Fair/Good.
