Bodley Head, 1974. 1st Thus. Hardcover. NF/NF. ARDIZZONE, Edward. 1st Edition thus. 24.4 x 18.4 cm pictorial paper covered boards 47[1]pp with colour illustrations by Edward Ardizzone throughout. With original unclipped dust jacket priced at 1.30 net. A review slip with publication information has been laid in. A near fine copy with just a hint of shelfwear to the bottom edge. Internally clean and bright, without name, inscription or bookplate and just the merest hint of toning to the endpapers. The dust jacket, which is now protected in a removable clear cover (not shown), is bright and unfaded with just a touch of very light rubbing to the spine tips, corners and edges.
