Published to complement the same publisher's 1823 edition of The Complete Angler. Fine period binding by J. Mackenzie, ''Bookbinder to the King'', of full polished calf with raised, bands, intricate and elaborate floral decoration gilt on spine and both covers, inner dentelles gilt, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt. Engraved armorial bookplate on front pastedown.Some light foxing. Near fine. Housed in a recent full morocco slipcase with buckram inner sleeve.
