223 pages with diagrams, tables, photographs and index. Quarto (9 1/2" x 7") rebound with original front wrapper laid on. Prolog by Rey Ardid. Errata tipped in. (Bibliotheca Van der Linde-Niemeijeriana: 5672) First edition.

The Barcelona Chess Club sponsored the tournament with 14 contestants. Najdorf was the clear winner with 11 1/2 loosing no games. Yanofsky captured second with 9 1/2 points. C E Guimard and A Medina tied for third through fourth with 9 points each. M Albareda was alone in fifth with 8 1/2. Sixth through eight were R Llorens, A O'Kelly and F J Perez each with 6 1/2.

Condition:

Rebound with original wrapper laid on front cover. Corners bumped, some internal soiling else a very good copy.
