London: Oxford OUP Humphrey Milford, 1934. Book. Very Good. Hard Cover with Dust Jacket. 1st Edition. Autobiographical memories of the author's life as a child in Victorian London in the 1870s. BOOK:- Spine head and heel crush, some wear to the board corners. Faint tape ghost outlines on the front board, some tarnishing of the gilt spine titles. Ink name (A B Hughes) and address on the front free endpaper. DUST JACKET:- Not intact (held together by internal tape repair), with price on front flap. Edgewear. Large chips and tears. Spine head and heel are missing. Soiling of the panels. Browning, but no fade. Front panel has parted from the spine and held in place with internal tape repair (tape is also of a venerable vintage).
