Boston: Houghton Mifflin, 1911. 1st. hb. Gray cloth, gilt lettering on front cover and spine, 12mo, 683 pp. Illustrations by N. C. Wyeth. Color frontis portrait of Stonewall Jackson. Lacking front free endpaper, front hinge cracked, binding somewhat loose but holding. No marks in text. Covers show considerable edge wear, fraying top and bottom of spine. A good reading copy of the First Edition, published May, 1911.
