Collins, Toronto, 1972. First Canadian Edition. Hardcover (Original Cloth). Good Condition/Good. Dark blue coloured boards with gilt coloured titlesto the spine. Bumping to the head and to the heel of the spine and shelfwear is evident to the lower book edges. Dust marks to the top book edges and to the top paper edges. A few handling marks to the internal pages. Illustrated dustwrapper, with pink and blue abstract design, with blue and black coloured titles to the front panel and black and white coloured titles to the spine. Rubbing to the dustwrapper corners and to the edges of the dustwrapper. Dulling and marking to the white of the dustwrapper and there are quite heavy grubby marks as well. Dustwrapper is priced clipped, front fold over, lower right-hand corner. The story of an ecologically devastated future where a subsistence culture must contend with vastly more technologically developed intruders.
