Synopsis
Burke's novel tells the story of Iry Paret, paroled for manslaughter, and trying to rebuild his life in a quiet Montana ranch owned by a friend's father, Frank Riordan. Can Iry avoid the eye of the sherrif and not earn the enmity of the town?
