Some minor stains on endpapers - looks like dj flaps might have been attached with tape or clips at one point, else clean bright and tight interior. 244 pages. DJ has some chips and tears along edges, remains of tape marks, some letters missing from illustrator name due to chip bottom edge of front cover. Protected from further damage in clean Brodart jacket. The beautiful wild horse that Dixie and Ben Darby in Idaho loves is being threatened by a band of runners who are trying to capture him. 246 pages. Illus. by Crowell, Pers. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
