A smart first edition of this humorously illustrated collection of love letters written to The Beatles at the height of Beatlemania. First edition. Illustrated throughout. A collection of genuine love letters set to English rock band The Beatles, regarded as the most influential band of all time, at the height of the fanaticism surrounding them known as Beatlemania. Selected by Bill Adler, an American music journalist and critic. Illustrated by Robert Chesley Osborn, an American satiric cartoonist, illustrator and author. In the original pictorial paper covered boards. Externally, very smart with minor bumping to the extremities. Original unclipped dust wrapper is also smart with light wear and minor chipping to the extremities. Light sunning to the spine and the odd small mark to the panels. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout. Bookseller's label to the front pastedown. Near Fine
