Fold out map to rear. Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning. Unclipped jacket with visible edge wear and minor rubbing. There is visible tearing to corners, edges and spine ends and major foxing to interior.

Great insight, with solid Scottish literary history, as befitting an author who wrote on Burns. The dust jacket, particularly bright, is now preserved in a removable, archival sleeve.
