About This Item

London: Robert Hale, 1977. Revised Edition. Hardcover. Fine/Near Fine. 8vo. Pp. xi; 307. Including a new preface to this edition. Index. Illustrated with artful full-page b&w photo reproductions. Bound in green paper-covered boards with gilt lettering stamped on spine. Fine in a price-clipped dust jacket. A guide not readily found in the US. Great insight, with solid Scottish literary history, as befitting an author who wrote on Burns. The dust jacket, particularly bright, is now preserved in a removable, archival sleeve.
