Apple Manor Press. Collectible - Good. SIGNED/INSCRIBED! Saint John, New Brunswick: J. & A. McMillan, 1887. Sm. 8vo. 183pp. Frontis., illus. Signed by D. H. Waterbury (contributor of article on The Old Public Burial Ground, pp. 78-87) in pencil at center of front free endpage. Beneath that is an inscription in black ink to Miss Helene [Maganes?], "with respect of D. H. Waterbury, St. Johns N.B., 17 Aug 1931." Good book. Boards rubbed; small chips to front board, bumped to lower edge of rear board. Front hinge cracking at dedication page. Inscription in red ink on dedication page referring to Jonathan Sewell, p. 141; note and underlines on footnote of p. 141. Pencil notes on p. 99 in top and bottom margins; pencil calculations at bottom of p. 109; D.H.W. initials in pencil at bottom of p. 163. A letter to Miss [Maganes?] from D. H. Waterbury on Admiral Beatty Hotel stationery laid in at p. 141. Pages mildly browned. Inquire if you need further information.
