N.P.: Funded By a Grant from Central Michigan University, 1984. First edition [1984]. Catalogue of works by M. M. Lum, signed by the artist at the bottom of the front free endpaper. The book is a collection of works related to accidents, disasters, rescues, etc. Each right-hand page is a reproduction of Lum's work in black and white (it looks like the originals were also in black and white), with a caption opposite. Examples of the captions include: Freight train derailment spills acid in Pennsylvania; Woman running from her home as dozens of aftershocks follow earthquake; Member of state unit to investigate illegal shipping and dumping of hazardous wastes taking target practice; Helicopter drops fire retardant on houses as fires sweep across three California counties, etc. Softcover, 44 pages. Some light edgewear and rubbing to the covers, internally about fine.. Signed by the Artist. First Edition. Soft Cover. Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
