A 1921, First Edition, First Issue, Stated Nineteenth Printing, Hardcover of "Main Street" by Sinclair Lewis. This is a First Issue as it has perfect type on page 387 and a perfect number 54 on page 53. It has a previous owners name on the first free end paper. It has some fade on the opposite page from a sales receipt for the purchase of the book in 1968 for 52 cents. The spine has a chip as can be seen in the photo. The points of the boards has some rub. The coloring to the spine and front board is bright. Boards show some scuffing and shelfwear. The binding is solid. One page has a small chipped corner, can be seen in the photos.. Pages are evenly age toned.
