About This Item

Monaco: A la Voile Latine, 1946. One of 234 numbered copies on velin pur fil a la forme des papeteries Johannot, from a total edition of 250, each signed by the artist. Page size: 9-3/4 x 12-1/2 inches; 110pp; including colophon, list of illustrations and Acheve d'imprimer. Handsomely rebound in 3/4 green morocco and paste-paper boards, spine paneled, title gilt, top edge gilt, original green, black and white lithographed covers bound in, some rubbing at edges else fine. Illustrated by Andre Marchand with frontispiece and three lithographs hors-texte printed in black. The lithographed capitals in the text are printed in red. The text was printed on the presses of Fequet et Baudier in Paris; the lithographs were printed by Desjobert in Paris.
