About This Item

Alfred A. Knopf, 1977. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. Signed and inscribed on frontispiece by Margaret Hamilton, who portrayed the Wicked Witch of the West (Hamilton also wrote the introduction): "For P---- with love - Margaret Hamilton + WWW." Second printing. Octavo in boards over cloth spine. Boards crisp and unworn, with hint of fading to front board at foot; light foxing to textblock edges, tiny stain to rear free endpaper, else interior clean, crisp, and bright; very light wear to jacket, small flaw to jacket spine panel where plastic laminate has pulled up just a bit. Very nice copy, and a wonderful piece of cinema history. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall.
