Paperback small quarto, thin card covers, very good condition, black & white text-photos, minor edgewear, top corner rear cover & top corner last few pages creased, crossed out name on front cover, previous owner's name written in biro on title page, edges & pages lightly toned. 159 pp. The stories, recollections, photographs and maps collected and presented here by Stan Tutt (Caboolture Historical Society) are a small part of the rich history and folklore of those historic days of many campfires, camp ovens, wood stoves, wooden wheels and iron tyres, horse and bullock, and the daylong ring of the selector's axe. An excellent way to learn about life on the land in fascinating southeast Queensland.
