About This Item

New York, New York, U.S.A.: Farrar, Straus and Giroux, 1986. First Edition First Printing 1st Printing. Hardcover. Fair/Near Fine. Mikolaydak, Charles. In what was perhaps "her most remarkable adventure novel,'' L'Engle continues the award-winning Time Trilogy in this new work featuring "run-of-the-mill twins Sandy & Dennys in the remarkable Murray family," who are transported through time & space one day while fooling around on the new computer in their parents' lab. A FIRST EDITION, First Printing, from 1986, this hardcover 8vo has purple cloth-covered boards wrapping the spine, covered with lighter purple paper, stamped in gilt script to front & spine. As an EX-LIB copy, with partially torn-out card pocket & usual stamps & markings in front & to top & bottom outside page edges, condition is only Fair: heavily read by previous readers, worn down to underlying boards along both top & bottom edges. Rightward lean, but binding strong, hinges intact, interior pages unmarked. The unclipped DJ, having been protected under old library mylar, is a beauty! Clean & colorful, with old call number carefully removed from spine. Condition is Near Fine: virtually flawless & protected in new clear mylar cover to stay that way! Our photos show the Exact book you will receive, never "stock" images of books we don't actually have! Same day shipping on all orders received by 2pm weekdays Pacific time (Pacific); later orders, weekends, & holidays ship very next business day.
