In contemporary half calf with green cloth, some blind tooling, corners and edges a little bumped and worn. Spine relaid, raised bands, gilt tooling, new label with gilt titles to maroon morocco label. Internally, green endpapers, hinges strengthened, text block edges reddened, armorial bookplate of Herbert Henley Richardson to fpd, [2], [1], 8-284, printed by Cox (Bros) and Wyman. WITH, Duchess of Mazarin, [1856], with the publishers leaf, frontis and additional engraved title page, [4], [1], 2-224 pp, 2 pls, not dated but 1856?, number 4 in Blackwoods London Library, printed by M'Corquodale and Co, faint browning to some leaf edges. Uncommon. (155*98 mm). WorldCat lists only 2 copies of this edition in UK institutions. Marchioness of Brinvilliers was first published in 1846, this appears to be the 2nd publication of it, although with a different publisher. (Allibone 2128)

DELIVERY DETAILS We ship all of our orders via Royal Mail. Orders are usually shipped within 2 or 3 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized or a multiple in books we will contact you to let you know that extra shipping is required. Insurance costs are usually dictated by the shippers, should they be higher than normal, then we will contact you for your acceptance.
