Self Published, Not Stated, 1972. First Edition. Hardcover (Original Cloth). Very Good Condition/Very Good. Illustrator: Photographic. Signed by Author. Between pages 96 and 97 there are 18 pages of black and white photographs. Light blue coloured cloth covered boards with gilt coloured titles to the back strip. Photographic dustwrapper with orange and black coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. The autobiography of Maria von Trapp, matriarch of the von Trapp family, and, inspiration for "The Sound of Music". Rubbing of the book edges with softening of the back strip edges. Light tanning of the text block edges and pages and the front text edge shows a little staining to the top edge and to the lower edge. Pages 17 through to 32 a slightly more dark on the front edge. Previous owner's ex libris plate is fixed to the free front end page; and, their name has been placed to the top edge of the same page. Original bookseller's sticker to the lower right-hand corner of the front paste-down. Rubbing of the dustwrapper edges and panels. Sunning of the back strip with yellowing of the rear panel along with rubs and marks. First Edition by this Publisher. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 256 pages,.
