About This Item

Sphere 37648, 1971. Good. First English edition, a vintage paperback, 3rd in series. Cover art depicting woman in dress before a Musketeer-type fellow in the background, after promotional art for Phillipe de Broca's 1962 film, "Cartouche," starring Claudia Cardinale, with her likeness on the cover of this volume. Hopefully Gaillard's tale is every bit as adventurous and lusty. Good Plus, lean, rubbing, toning, creases, a few small tears and scuffs. Uncommon.
