Whitehorn, CA: Johannesen, 1995. Handbound Reprint. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket as Issued. This 1995 reprint is reproduced from the 1887 edition of Kegan Paul. Stamped, "Brown Collection". Dr. Edwin W. Brown owned one of the finest collections in the world of C.S. Lewis and Inklings-related books, and the entire original "Brown Collection" remains at Taylor University. Over the years, many other books were added to this original collection, and they were stamped "Brown Collection", including this book. This does not necessarily indicate previous ownership by Dr. Edwin W. Brown, but simply means that it was owned by Taylor University and was related to the "Brown Collection". Handbound reprint. Green cloth boards with gilt text and decoration. No dust wrapper as published. A nice copy but the condition is graded VG due to ex-library markings. Shelley and Son Books specializes in C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien & the Inklings. Full refund if not satisfied.
