About This Item
Mary Plain's Whodunit by Gwynedd Rae (Routledge & Kegan Paul, 1st edition 1965), illustrations by Irene Williamson.
A previous owner inscription to front free endpaper – Carol Raymont being an actress in a production of 'Billy Liar', appearing with Kevin Whately and Jimmy Edwards.
Hardback in price-clipped dustwrapper with an overprinted decimal price plus label – presumably this title took several years to sell out. pp ix, [1], 130, including b/w illustrations. 7.5 x 5.5 inches approx. (190mm x 144mm).
Dustwrapper showing some tanning to verso especially to spine; small dampstains to tail of spine and front fold; lightly rubbed and worn to extremities; impression/loss of colour to front panel due to price label however no surface damage. Inscription to front free endpaper; page edges tanned; ever so slight nicotine/smoky odour but doesn't seem too objectionable.
Overall, light wear otherwise a nice, clean copy.
*International shipping rates are estimated and may incur an extra charge prior to order fulfilment. Books are despatched via Royal Mail International Tracked/Signed where available; please enquire for an accurate shipping quote to your country.*
