New York : Dodd, Mead and Company, 1918. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Fine/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Fine cloth first edition with gilt lettering on spine and gilt design on front cover. Very Good DJ in protective mylar cover. DJ has a 1 inch tear at top of spine and various small closed tears, chipping, and wear around edges. Book spine is straight and tight. Light age toning to all pages commensurate with age. Minor shelf wear to bottom of spine. There is a signature on the front free endpaper by Harriet O'Shea. She was not one of the authors in this volume but a significant figure in the education and psychological professions in the early 20th century. Her professional papers are housed at Purdue University. Some pencil marks on endpapers. 133 pages.
