Enders' handsome moire patterned metallic green silk with decorative title design brightly in gilt. Wood grain petterned endsheets. Gathers the plates and text for all 12 monthly issues bound in one volume. Selection of plates numbered 577 - 648 followed by a cotinuously paged section of text comprised of 12 monthly parts. Each plate mounted on heavy green cardstock with lettered guard. Bookplate of prominent Lancaster PA, lawyer and civic leader, Redmond Conyngham, mounted to the front pastedown. Pictorial armorial bookplate designed by David McNeely Stauffer, noted historian of ealy American printmaking. The impressive cloth binding is by E. A. Enders, impressed with their binder's mark on the rear board. Some superficial shelf rubbing to cloth at spine ends and mild toning to cloth at edges. VG ot better ...
