New York: D. Appleton and Company. Very Good-. 1855. Luxury Edition. Hardcover. calfskin half-leather binding over marble boards, 5 raised bands with gilt decorated compartments, leather title and author labels, all edges marble with matching end-papers, 19 engraved plates. Outer covers show mild rubbing and shelf wear. Slight bumping to corners, mild edge wear with light exposure of boards, spines show mild reading wear and surface crackling. Mild chipping to the upper spine of volume 1. Former owner's bookplate affixed to the front pastedowns, but bears no name. International addresses will require extra postage due to size. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
