Moderately rubbed and worn, even so firm and square and showing well. Contents clean and tidy, no pen-marks, just typically age toned and speckled. Not from a library so no such stamps or labels. Size: 170mm x 115mm. Pages: 247, complete with all 15 colour plates by Rowlandson. Thus a very good copy.

Contemporary full tree calf, gilt spine with red morocco label & gilt lettering, with alternating compartments within double gilt filets of radiating fluted petals within pointille lozenges, and 24 stars inside vertically scrolling guilloche borders (worn at the spine ends, lower joint slightly cracked but boards are well attached).
