Philadelphia: Triangle Books and The Blakiston Company, 1946. Originally published in 1939. Turquoise linen-like cloth with heavy black cover lettering, 309 pages, color illustrated dustjacket. The book is in very good condition with lightly rubbed spine ends and corners, some light and evenly distributed surface soil to edges of text block, sound text block, good hinges, clean and pleasantly age-toned with no names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is not corner clipped and is also in very good condition with minor edgewear including mostly surface-rubbed and a bit chipped extreme spine ends, a quarter-inch neatly closed tear atop left corner front cover that extends through the letter 'O' in the author's name (does not obstruct text read).. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
