Several juvenile adventure stories by various anonymous authors, the titular story being attributed to Emerson Bennett, and another, ""Jimmy Jumper"" an early story by L. M. Alcott. Red cloth cover with decoration in black and gilt shows minor wear and rubbing, loss on the crown of the spine. Pages are heavily tanned and brittle, the title page is chipped and detached.
