Philadelphia: T.B. Peterson and Brothers, 1868. Paperback. Good. [2], 396, [2] p.; 25 cm. Original printed wrappers. Woodcut illustration on front wrapper drawn by Henry Anelay and engraved by H. Carter. Date of publication inferred from publisher's advertisement on first page following text: "Get up your clubs for 1869!" Printed wrappers and final leaf contain publisher's advertisements. Some unopened leaves. Very scarce in original illustrated wrappers. In Good Condition: wrapper fore-edges and lower edges chipped; wrapper separating from head of front joint for 3 cm. and from tail of back joint for 10 cm.; wrapper is slightly soiled; fore-edges of front wrapper and pages through p. 116 damaged, without loss of text; occasional light foxing; otherwise clean and tight.
