Ditto bump on upper foredge corners, else bright gilt titles over undamaged cream, original cloth boards. Textblock pristine. Colour-illustrated dustjacket lightly bumped and edgeworn, with several creases on front flap. This fascinating book on the life of one of the world's great jazz drummers and band leaders, Bernard ('Buddy') Rich (b. 1917 - d.1987) was some twenty years in the making, and included personal interviews with the man himself, and many other sources.
