London: H S Nichols & Co, 1895. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. First Edition. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Aging ex university librray copy with all usual stamps marks and removals - signed by previous owner reverse side of front cover in ink. First three pages heavily age tanned and delicate - rest of book in good order although some parts are starting to separate from the spine with webbing showing through. the two maps, although have become detached from the book, are still in existance. No illustrations. Red cloth hard cover with gold gilt titles to spine - embossed design of swiss flag to rear in red, white and gold gilt shield shape - gold gilt embossed design of female with shield and spear to front - faded spine and slight residual trace of sellotape removal to foot - some slight edge wear and rubbing. Heavy volume over 1kg - additional postage may be requested..
