About This Item
London: The Studio, Ltd., 1913. Comprised mostly of plates, this book includes the work of numerous artists reproduced in color, black and white, on tinted paper, in sepia tone, etc. Includes the work of artists from Great Britain, America, France, Holland, Austria, Germany and Sweden. 279 pages, almost all plates, uncut edges. Original covers missing and expertly replaced with tan paper, the original front cover mounted on the front (the covers of this book were very prone to chipping and other damage...this cover actually looks neater than most). No endpapers, everything else complete and in very good condition except for some occasional foxing to a few of the text pages and some margin tears and margin creasing to the final plate. A nice copy, beautifully illustrated.. First Edition. Soft Cover. Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
