With some of the original green wrappers, in original green portfolio with ties. Includes Pennsylvania Railroad Station, New York City; Columbia University; Girard Trust Co. building, Philadelphia; the Harvard Club, New York City; alterations to the house of Elon H. Hooker, Greenwich, Conn.; American Academy in Rome; Botanical Museum of the Brooklyn Institute of Arts & Science; and the Panama Pacific International Exposition, San Francisco. On the reverse of plate 352 is written in pencil: "Return to Heacock & Hokanson." J. Linden Heacock and Oscar M. Hokanson were architects in Philadelphia from around 1900 to the late 1930s. A heavy book; for international shipping, it will have to be sent by priority international. In Good Condition: lacking plates 337, 341, 354, 385; loss at some plate corners; edge soiling and chipping; staining along edge of 6 plates; lacking back wrapper of part XVI, front wrapper of parts XVII, XVIII, and XX; wrapper edges are chipped, with small tears; portfolio separated along spine.

Cutler's designs perfectly present late 19th-century English rural architecture from cottages of various sizes to a village corner shop to small and large country houses. The volume concludes with his design for the Princess Alice Memorial Hospital at Eastbourne. In Good+ Condition: corners are rubbed; back board is scraped; both hinges are weak; clean and tight.

A 19th-century owner had it bound with black cloth spine and corners and black paper over boards. Former owner's inscription on front fixed endpaper: "Eigenthum des Tischlermeister Brandt." No date of publication; listed in Bayerische Landeszeitung for 1869. Issued in two parts, with 6 leaves of plates in each; all 12 are included here. Adolph Guggenberger entered the workshop of German sculptor Anselm Sickinger (1807-1873) around 1860 as an architectural draftsman workig on the altars designed by Sickinger. Casa del HerreroHouse of the Blacksmithstands today as one of the most fully developed and intact examples of Spanish Colonial Revival architecture. It was designed and built between 1922 and 1925 as a second house for George Fox Steedman, a St. Louis industrialist. Thought principally to be the work of George Washington Smith, the architect, Steedman himself generated many ideas during the initial design phase that were both a blessing and curse to Smith.
