New York: Grosset & Dunlap, 1929. Reissue. Hardcover. Near Fine/very good. Red cloth hardcovers lettered in black. 304 pp. plus publisher's ads at rear with 29 Burroughs titles ending with "The Mucker". Early reprint edition. A tight, generally fine example, bit of bumping at spine ends, previous owner name and address written on front pastedown. In the original color illustrated dust jacket, some wear at the extremities and with a small chip and tidemark at the foot of the spine and a closed, wrinkled tear/peel lower front panel. Old internal tape repairs on inside of the jacket that are not evident from the front. Presents quite nicely.
Synopsis
A scientist is obsessed with creating the perfect human in his laboratory vats, but the road to perfection is paved with twelve hideous mistakes!
