Overall a very clean, neat copy with no annotations or inscriptions. Laminate wrinkle and surface scratches to lower panel of dust-jacket. A fine book in a very good jacket. Novelist Martin Amis chronicles his time in America during the early 1980s, covering topics as diverse as AIDS and new Evangelists along with his encounters with Ronald Reagan, William Burroughs and Kurt Vonnegut.
