The two front and one rear corner are bumped. Top edge of textblock has traces of what was probably insect predation. Bindin sound. Pages are clean and unmarked. Nice clear inscription on ffep: "To Jim Critchfield who knew the "Mozart" as well as the author, with warm regards and esteem. Harris Greene." Critchfield was a U.S. intelligence officer in Europe after WW II. He went on to serve in the Middle East." DJ has short tears and chipping, most prominantly at the head of spine. English price intact, but corner has been clipped below it--probably by the publisher. DJ now in Brodart archival sleeve. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 449 pages; Signed by Author .
