Paris: Garnier Frères, 1869. Hardcover. Very Good. 4to, lxiii + pp480 plus 70 color engraved plates and many b/w illustrations throughout. Hardcover no dust jacket. Binding of red shagreen leather with 5 raised bands and gilt titles and designs to spine in good condition with a little rubbing to boards and edges with some old staining to front board. Inside with moire silk end papers all pages with full edge gilt in very good condition with some foxing throughout , thankfully mostly to text not plates. A nice copy of this fantastic work.
