Collins, 1936. First Edition. Hardcover. Fair/No Jacket. The title page is missing but has been replaced by a facsimile. The boards are shelf rubbed and edge worn, with the spine discoloured and the cloth frayed along the edges. Despite this, the boards remain strong and sturdy. Internally, there is a tape residue marking under the front board, tanning to the end papers and foxing throughout, but there are no other markings and the pages within are neat, legible and otherwise complete. Synopsis
Murder in Mesopotamia is a work of detective fiction by Agatha Christie and first published in the UK by the Collins Crime Club on July 6, 1936 and in the US by Dodd, Mead and Company later in the same year. The UK edition retailed at seven shillings and sixpence (7/6) and the US edition at $2.00. The book features the Belgian detective Hercule Poirot.
