Boston: L. Prang & Co.. Good+. 1885. First Edition. Hardcover. Cover edges rubbed with wear at corners and spine ends. Front cover paper label dulled with rubbing at its edges. William C. Menninger bookplate on the front pastedown. 4 pages of text have light underlining in pencil. Mrs. Menninger's signature found on title page and also at the corner of one of the 12 color lithographs. Binding remains sound. Light creasing and soiling to lithographs. ; William C. Menninger was a co-founder with his brother Karl and his father of The Menninger Foundation in Topeka, Kansas, an internationally known center for psychiatric treatment. ; 4to 11" - 13" tall .
