Random House first printing thus the number line sequence begins at "2". No writing, marks, underlining, or bookplates. No remainder marks. Not an ex-library copy. Spine is tight and crisp. Corners are square, and the boards are flat and true with only minor edge wear, though the blue cloth spine appears a bit faded in spots, and the gold gilt lettering is also slightly worn. There is also some light soiling to the front endpapers. Dust jacket is not price-clipped ($25.95) and shows only minor edge wear, scuffing, and bumping to the corners including a 1/4" tear on the lower left corner of the back cover. The jacket and flaps are also lightly browned toward the edges, and there is a small area of red soiling at the bottom of the spine. This collectible, near fine/very good+, first edition/first printing copy is protected with an archival mylar dust jacket cover. Satisfaction guaranteed!
