(1st) Slightly smaller book, smooth dark red cloth, medical symbol, title and author's name on front, spine surface is badly damaged down to paper beneath, tiny wear spot on both bookfold edges, 192 photo paper pages, illustrations throughout and facsimile letter of Florence Nightingale. Poor--reading copy.
