Indianapolis and New York: The Bobbs Merrill Company, 1934. Stated first edition, 1934. Fair to good in a fair to good dustajcket. Black cloth printed in green, 302 pages, with dustjacket. The upper corner of the front cover is bumped (pages not affected), semi-gloss cloth coating dulled at the outer and lower edges of both covers, very subtle lean to binding, good hinges, sound text block, clean pages, no names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped [2.00] and has age-darkening and light speckling to the white background of the rear panel and inner flaps, chips to extremities that do not interfere with lettering. Novel of a woman native to the Congo who lived life on her own terms.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Fair/Fair. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
