Stockport, England: Dewi Lewis, 1997. (110) pages. Black and white photographs by photojournalist von Graffenried; introductions by art curator Harold Szeemann and photography critic A. D. Coleman. Signed, without inscription, by the photographer on the title page. Von Graffenried spent 3 years introducing himself to members of the Swiss Friends of Light, a longtime naturist organization (nudist colony) on Lake Neuchâtel in Switzerland. He was able to persuade some of them to agree to being photographed in their everyday lives within the colony. The result of this book of photographs that blur the border between vernacular and fine art photography. Both book and dust jacket are in as-new condition.. SIGNED. First Edition. Hardcover. Fine/Fine. Illus. by Michael von Graffenried. Folio - over 12" - 15" tall. Book.
