This is a very good copy of the First English edition without dust jacket, SIGNED and Inscribed on the prelims by the author. The previous owner’s bookplate is affixed to the facing page. The corners of the cloth cover, head and tail of the spine are worn and frayed; else fine. Contents fine. The Napoleonic Wars, 1796 to 1815, from the points of view of his twenty-six Marshals.
